![]() It came with a 160GB Intel SSD and I replaced the second hard disk (which was a 750GB Seagate Momentus) with the exact same model SSD as in bay 1 (another 160GB Intel 320 series SSD). ![]() If theres any computer infomation/stats/details at all that you need, Id be happy to post it here. These seem to be the most common 'solutions' on google, but havent worked for me. But then I might not know what to look out for. I had a quick look through the event logs, but I didnt see anything sticking out like a sore thumb. I also updated my nvidia geforce gtx560M to version 295.73.ĭespite all this, the freezing still happens. ![]() ![]() I tried fiddling around with the power settings: disabling hydrid hibernate, disabling USB selective suspendĪnd also disallowed my mouse to wake the computer (Through device manager)Īnd uninstalled the power4gear application, since that kept changing my power plan back to the power4gear setting automatically. The ASUS Live Update had updated my keyboard and mouse drivers, so I rolled them back, but it still happens. If it sleeps/hibernates for any longer than an hour, the problem occurs (I havent tried anything between 5-60 minutes) I also need to point out that a couple of times, if I hibernate the laptop and start it up again right away, it worked fine (But that only happened twice). The keyboard usually goes unresponsive soon after, the taskbar and desktop icons next and the mouse will then freeze shortly after that. When I turn it back on, it seems ok, and allows me to load, but after between 1-3 minutes, it suddenly slows down. It has been doing this since purchase (2 weeks ago) My laptop freezes shortly after sleep/hibernate. I have just purchased a new G74SX which runs fine, except for one problem.
